POLICIES

TUITION:
ONLY Cash & Checks will be accepted. There will be a $20 fee for returned checks. Tuition is the same regardless of the amount of classes per month. This includes snow days, holidays, school vacations and all absences of the individual student. At the time of registration a $20 registration fee per child is required, $35 maximum per family. Tuition is due the first day of each month, September through June. If tuition is not received by the 10th of the month a $10 late fee will be charged.  Eloquence Dance Centre does not offer refunds on registration fee or monthly tuition if a student misses or discontinues class. In addition, costume deposits or costume balances are also non-refundable. Please notify the studio if your student is discontinuing class or you will be billed until the studio receives notification.

ATTENDANCE:
Attendance is essential for students to progress throughout the year. If a students will be absent please call the studio prior to the class time. Students will be eligible to make-up classes only if the studio has been notified of the absence and prior approval of a make-up has occurred. Choreography for the end-of-year performance will begin during the first week in January. In order for all classmates to benefit, please make every effort to attend all classes - in the choreography stage this is so important! Classes begin September 4, 2007.

END-OF-YEAR PERFORMANCE:

Students are encouraged, but not required, to participate in the end-of-year performance. A $35 costume deposit, per costume will be due on November 1, 2008. Costume balances will be due on February 1, 2009. In order to participate in the end-of-year performance and receive costumes, all accounts must be current.

SCHEDULE CHANGES & SNOW DAYS:
The 2008/2009 schedule is subject to change based upon registration. Eloquence Dance Centre reserves the right to cancel any class that has less then 5 students. In the event of a cancelled class students will be placed in another class of an equal level. Eloquence Dance Centre will make up snow days if a class misses more then two classes due to inclement weather. If Littleton Public Schools cancels school, all morning classes will be cancelled. Please call the studio after 2pm regarding afternoon/evening classes. If there is a delayed open in Littleton, all morning classes will be cancelled. If Littleton releases students early due to inclement weather, all afternoon/evening classes will be cancelled.


CLASS ATTIRE:
Ballet- Leotard, tights, ballet skirt (optional)
Modern & Lyrical- Leotard, footless or convertible tights, pants/shorts/capri (optional)
Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop & Irish Step- Leotard and pants/shorts/capri
(NO shorts in Hip Hop please)
Boys ONLY Hip Hop- sweat pants and tee-shirts any style

REQUIRED SHOES:
Preschool & Kinder Dance- pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes
(no laces please)
Level I, II, III- pink ballet slippers, tan tap shoes, tan jazz shoes
Hip Hop I, II & Teen- black jazz shoes or dance sneakers
Boys ONLY Hip Hop- clean sneakers that are used only for dance class
Teen Ballet- pink ballet slippers, canvas recommended
Teen Jazz- tan jazz shoes
Modern & Lyrical- barefoot
