Whitney Fraser MacIsaac Director/Owner/Instructor (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop) Whitney Fraser-MacIsaac, Director/Owner/Instructor, has been dancing since early childhood. Family folklore states her first steps were dance steps, and she hasn’t stopped dancing since then. She studied and performed classical ballet, tap and jazz at several local studios and continued her dance training at Roger Williams University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Performance Studies. While at Roger Williams, Whitney studied ballet, improvisation, jazz, mime, modern, tap, performance studies, kinesiology and was also a member of the Dance Theatre where she performed and choreographed for the dance company. Other achievements in her dance career include her former position as head of the dance department and director of the dance company for the Middlesex School Summer Arts program in Concord, MA and membership in the Dance Teachers Club of Boston, where she regularly attends meetings and classes to stay current with dance techniques. While planning the opening of Eloquence Dance Centre, Whitney taught in several studios in Massachusetts and is now bringing her experience and love of dance to the Littleton area.

Emerald Rae, Instructor (Irish Step) As National Fiddle Champion, multi-instrumentalist and seasoned Irish and Cape Breton dance performer, Miss Emerald brings experience and variety to her students. She is versed in all types of celtic music and dance and brings the energy of many years of performing on stage to her classes. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and a US National Scottish Fiddle Champion. After completing her studies at Berklee, she moved to Glasgow, Scotland where she spent a year researching 18th century fiddle music. She has also performed as a dancer with such notable acts as Alasdair Fraser and Natalie MacMaster, and has been teaching in the Boston area for the last 5 years. She joyously dedicates her time to sharing the tunes, instruments and stories she’s picked up along the way with you!

Rachel Ruvich, Instrutor (Ballet, Tap, Jazz) Miss Rachel has been studying dance since the age of six. She grew up taking ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop, and at the age of twelve began student teaching at all levels. Rachel also attended workshops offered by the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and graduated from their Dance Education Training Course which is held for three consecutive summers. While at UMass Amherst, Rachel took courses in creative movement, theatre, ballet, jazz, rhythmic analysis, dance production, and childhood development. Miss Rachel is thrilled to be teaching at Eloquence.
